CEU alumna and research fellow  Dorottya Redai (GENS ‘03 MA, ‘16 PhD, Hungary) was named among TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2021. The list recognizes the impact, innovation, and achievement of the world's most influential individuals of the year.

Dorottya is the coordinator of the Hungarian book project "Fairyland is for Everyone" (Meseország mindenkié), published by Labrisz Lesbian Association in 2020. The volume contains fairy tales by contemporary authors with diverse characters from various marginalized or disadvantaged groups, intended to help parents and teachers discuss sensitive or ‘taboo’ issues with children aged 6-12 years. Since publication in September 2020 the book has sold more than 30,000 copies. See CEU's full story and interview with Dorottya.
