Croatia, Antonija Petričušić (SOCL '15)

Antonija Petričušić received her M.A. in Sociology and Social Anthropology at CEU and M.A. in Human Rights and Democratization from the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna. She received her Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law at the University of Graz, Austria. Currently she is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She is also a member of the Ombudswoman's Human Rights Council and a member of the International Academic Council of the European Regional Master's Programme in Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe. 

Portugal, Giulia Priora (LEGS '20)

Giulia Priora is Assistant Professor at the NOVA School of Law Lisbon, where she teaches intellectual property law, law of online platforms, AI ethics and regulation, and legal research methods. Her research focuses primarily on EU and comparative copyright law, IP theory, judicial reasoning, and distributive justice in the digital economy. She is affiliated fellow at CEDIS Research Centre on Law and Society, at CEU Center for Media Data and Society, and permanent contributor at the Kluwer Copyright Blog.

Moldova, Sanda Sandu (SPP '19)

Sanda Sandu is Human Rights Fellow at the Wikimedia Foundation and represented the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as Coordinator of the Eastern Partnership and Civil Society Program. She was involved in several research projects that investigated the topics of security sector governance and reform, corruption risks and integrity in Moldova and Eastern Europe. Sanda specializes in security, human rights, integrity, anti-corruption and whistleblower protection policies at the national and regional level. At CEU, she was an Alumni Scholarship Recipient in AY2018-19.

Hungary, Sanchari Ghosh (CHSP '19)

Sanchari is from India and a proud alumna of Central European University, having graduated from the Cultural Heritage Studies Program in 2019. She has lived in Budapest since 2017 and after graduation has been working in the education sector, predominantly educating young learners at an international preschool in Budapest.

Ethiopia, Aklilu Beyene (LEGS' 12)

Aklilu is a lawyer with eight + years of experience as a lecturer of law, researcher, company lawyer and licensed consultant and attorney. He received his LLM in International Business Law from Central European University and LLB degree from Hawasaa University, Ethiopia.  Currently, Aklilu is working as an attorney and consultant at all levels of the federal courts.
