CEU Alumni & Friends in Kyrgyzstan have devised a unique method of supporting their alma mater: they’re hitting the local pub quiz circuit.

Kyrgyz alumni have formed a team to compete at quiz nights in Bishkek pubs. The idea, group leaders say, is twofold: increase the university’s brand visibility in Kyrgyzstan, and to hopefully win some prize money in the process.

Any money the team wins will be donated to the CEU Alumni Campaign, chapter leaders say.

The team has competed twice in the last two months, and took second place at a quiz in Bishkek in January.
