Reunion, student recruitment time for CEU alumni in Russia

CEU alumni in Russia are kicking off October with a reunion and student recruitment events in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

On Friday, Oct. 4 alumni will host a student recruitment event at Moscow's National Research University - Higher School of Economics. Special guests will include CEU Student Recruitment Coordinator Zsuzsa Papp and Igor Fedyukin (HIST '98), former Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

CEU's global alumni network keeps growing!

In August, alumni living in the Big Apple got together to form CEU's newest alumni chapter, CEU Alumni & Friends in New York City

 The group's inaugural event took place on Aug. 24, at Brooklyn Bridge park for kayaking in the East River and a picnic. The second event, on Sept. 6, drew alumni to a Midtown cafe for a lively, hours-long reunion. On Sept. 25 they met again, this time at a Downtown pub.

Q: What do alumni in places like Serbia, Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan, to name a few, have in common? 

A: They are all welcoming their future fellow alumni - new CEU students - into the university's global family this summer and preparing them for the upcoming academic year.
