Wow, that’s a lot!

Six students are attending classes at the Department of International Relations this year, thanks to support provided by the CEU Alumni Scholarship.

Jorge Antonio Chavez Mazuelos, from Peru; Mutlu Duvarci, from Turkey; Nikkon Balial, from India; Sabina Jahanli, from Azerbaijan; Shamsurrahman Ahmadzi, from Afghanistan; and Tetiana Horban, from Ukraine are among 27 Alumni Scholarship Recipients (ASRs) from around the world studying at CEU, thanks to donors to the CEUgeneration fund.

(Click students’ names to learn more about them, in their own words.)

The two largest contingents of ASRs are studying at the Department of International Relations and the School of Public Policy.

Funded entirely by alumni donors, the scholarships cover students’ cost of living expenses while in Budapest, enabling students who might otherwise be financially unable to study here.

Thank you donors, and best of luck this year to these ASRs!
