A two-time graduate of the CEU Department of History, Dr. Bojan Aleksov (MA '99, PhD '05) is a Senior Lecturer in Modern Southeast European History at University College London (UCL). He is the author of Religious Dissent in the Age of Modernization and Nationalism: Nazarenes in Hungary and Serbia 1850-1914, a volume based upon his CEU PhD dissertation, among numerous other works.

CEU alumnus Uchenna Emelonye (LEGS ’04) has had a distinguished career with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, where he currently serves as the Country Representative for Uganda. He’s also represented CEU well, earning the Alumni Impact Award last year and taking the dais as Alumni Speaker during this year’s graduation ceremony, on June 23.

CEU Business School alumna Eva Pillar (MBA, '14) was awarded the prestigious "Women Energy CEO of the Year" award at last winter's Budapest Energy Summit in December, 2016. Eva serves as the Energy Sourcing Director at Hungarian energy company E2.
