SPP shares largest contingent of Alumni Scholarship Recipients

October 3, 2018

Wow, that’s a lot!

Six students are attending classes at the School of Public Policy this year, thanks to support provided by the CEU Alumni Scholarship.

Aline Yacoubian, from Syria; Bernadett Sebály, from Hungary; Carol Stephan, from Canada; Rebecca Marques Rocha, from Brazil; Sanda Sandu, from Moldova; and Zohaib Hassan, from Pakistan are among 27 Alumni Scholarship Recipients (ASRs) from around the world studying at CEU, thanks to donors to the CEUgeneration fund.

(Click students’ names to learn more about them, in their own words.)

The two largest contingents of ASRs this year are studying at SPP and the Department of International Relations.

Funded entirely by alumni donors, the scholarships cover students’ cost of living expenses while in Budapest, enabling students who might otherwise be financially unable to study here.

Thank you donors, and best of luck this year to these ASRs!
